The bay's flagship public ramp.

The main all-tide public ramp inside Urangan Boat Harbour. Multiple lanes with floating pontoons, good depth on any tide and direct access to Hervey Bay and the run across to K'gari. The default launch for anything east of Maryborough.

River Heads Ramp

The gateway to the Great Sandy Strait.

A busy multi-lane public ramp on the mouth of the Mary River at River Heads, 20 minutes south of Hervey Bay. Direct access into the Great Sandy Strait and the K'gari ferry lane. The launch of choice for cruisers heading south down the strait.

Burrum Heads Ramp

Quiet northern launch on the Burrum River.

A double-lane public ramp on the Burrum River at Burrum Heads, north of Hervey Bay. Easy access to the northern bay, the Burrum system and the run up to the Woodgate coast. Quieter than Urangan and popular with the local fishing crowd.

The main deep-water marina inside Urangan Boat Harbour — visitor and long-term berths, fuel dock, hardstand, travel-lift and a full trades network. The default base for cruisers passing through Hervey Bay and the staging point for K'gari, the strait and the run north.

Hervey Bay Boat Club Marina

Berths and a working clubhouse.

The Boat Club marina on the eastern side of Urangan Boat Harbour — berths, courtesy pontoons for visiting boats and the Boat Club restaurant and bar right on the water. A social base with easy access to the bay.
