Manly Boat Harbour

The bay's flagship public ramp.

Trafalgar Street, Manly QLD 4179

Multiple wide lanes with floating pontoons at the southern end of the largest boat harbour in the southern hemisphere. Fully sheltered inside the breakwater, big trailer parking, wash-down and every service you need within a short walk. The default launch for Moreton Bay.

Scarborough Boat Harbour

The northern bay's classic launch.

Landsborough Avenue, Scarborough QLD 4020

Four-lane ramp inside Scarborough Boat Harbour, fully sheltered by the breakwater with floating pontoons on both sides. Direct access to the northern bay, Bribie and Moreton. Popular with trailer-boat fishos.

Cabbage Tree Creek (Shorncliffe)

Sheltered launch on the northern beaches.

Sinbad Street, Shorncliffe QLD 4017

A tucked-away creek ramp with floating pontoons, well protected from bay chop. Straightforward launch and retrieve, close to the northern bay and Bribie. Popular with locals and often quieter than Scarborough.

Ramp 04

Colmslie (Brisbane River)

The city's river ramp.

Colmslie Recreation Reserve, Colmslie Road, Morningside QLD 4170

The go-to public ramp on the Brisbane River, at Colmslie between the port and the CBD. Two lanes with a floating pontoon, good parking, and direct river access to the city, the mouth of the river and out to Moreton Bay.

Wynnum Creek

Small local ramp, good bay access.

Wynnum Esplanade, Wynnum QLD 4178

A quieter suburban ramp on Wynnum Creek, less busy than Manly and handy for the southern bay. Best used within an hour or two of high tide — the creek shallows out on the low.

Full-service marina and boat harbour on the northern side of Redcliffe. Fuel dock, hardstand, travel-lift and a working chandlery and trades network. The go-to base for anyone launching or berthing north of the river.
